Philippines Report for Friday Morning, Aug 19

So that you can put some faces with the names of our Filipino brethren, I am including the following picture of some of the participants in this Bible study. In future reports, I will try to include two or three photos giving some visual of the things reported.

Below, from left to right, are Cipriano Carpentero (from Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao), Lordy Salunga (from Angeles City on Luzon – editor of Bible study paper Sword & Shield) and Jonathan Carino (from Cebu City on Cebu in the Visayas):

The following picture of Ramon Carino (of Pagadian City on Mindanao), Matt Sibayan, Sr. (of Loag City in the Illocos Norte region on the NW side of Luzon) and Noli Villamor (of Manila and Infanta on Luzon) was taken during this morning’s singing time:

Brother Julie Notarte of Digos City (SW of Davao on Mindanao) is pictured below together with his brother, Reuben Notarte, Jr., who are great workers in the kingdom:

Brethren Juanito Balbin (of Davao City on Mindanao – our host this week) and Ben Libertino (of Kidapawan in central Mindanao) have both preached for many years and are participants in the Bible study this week.

This is being sent during a break from the morning classes, so I must get back to the studies quickly. Lord willing, I will write again with a report on the studies throughout the day.
